Why Physical Therapy?

Maximize Movement

Pain-free movement is crucial to your quality of life, your ability to earn a living, and your independence. Physical therapists are movement experts who can identify, diagnose, and treat movement problems.

Improve Function

With one-on-one appointments and an individualized approach APEX Physical Therapy in Brighton is able to cater our treatments to your specific goals and get you back to your life and the activities you love quickly.

Physical therapists work collaboratively with their patients and clients. Treatment plans are designed for each person’s individual goals, challenges, and needs.

Decrease Pain Medications

In Michigan from 2014-2015, opioid death rates increased by 13.3 percent. Opioid risks include depression, overdose, and addiction. In some situations, dosed appropriately, prescription opioids are an appropriate part of medical treatment. However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is urging health care providers to reduce the use of opioids in favor of safer alternative such as physical therapy.

Learn About Your Condition and Body

With 60-90 minute one-on-one sessions with a licensed physical therapist 1-3 times per week, we have the unique opportunity to educate our patients on the anatomy of their condition, as well as dos and don'ts for their specific condition.

Prevent Future Injury & Re-injury

By identifying muscle imbalances, postural deficits and gait deviations we are able to not only assist in your recovery for your current injury but prevent future injuries by normalizing your movement patterns.
